Care Advice Wool is naturally antibacterial and if aired regularly should rarely need washing. Always wash before storing at the end of the winter to discourage moths, and store your favourite knits in separate bags to prevent the spread of moths.
When washing, use an eco-friendly delicate laundry detergent suitable for wool. Wash by hand or machine wash on a wool / hand-wash setting. If using the machine, place inside a net laundry bag or pillowcase. Wash cold to keep colours bright and with similar colours to avoid colour run. If handwashing, spin on a low speed afterwards and do not wring or dry in direct sunlight as colours can fade.
