I’m Kim Gladwin, the founder and curator of Vintage Akimbo.

I’ve been collecting for longer than I can remember. I love scouring the country for vintage treasuresand get a huge thrill when I find a gem. My ever-expanding personal collection led me to start selling, and I soon discovered the joy that passing on beloved items to excited new owners brings.

My background is in fashion and textiles, and I’m passionate about sustainability. Mending, darning and sewing to give pieces a new lease of life brings me a lot of joy. Everything you’ll find in my collection has been carefully chosen and lovingly cared for. 

Items are selected for their timeless qualities: dreamy prints, one-of-a-kind knits, joyful colours, quirky details, comfortable cuts and beautiful fabrics. I hope you find something that brings you as much happiness as it brought me finding it.
