1960s Deadstock Purple Wool Ruffles Blouse by Donald Davies

This is a really special blouse made from 100% pure woven wool in an eye-catching deep purple. The label states that it was proudly made in The Republic of Ireland. The dreamy ruffles are simply perfection, especially the ones on the cuffs which stand out like little wrist tutus. There are no darts but the cut is slightly shaped, giving a flattering silhouette. It has little side slits, so it looks great worn tucked in or out. I have the same blouse in a super shade of turquoise.
